2 Ways to Immediately Upgrade Your Nutrition

Information Overload

Understanding healthy eating can be overwhelming at times. Every where we turn there is information about what to eat and what not to eat. Mostly on the internet, but you probably also have a friend, co-worker, or family member chatting your ear off about their latest and greatest diet too. The truth is, crafting the perfect nutrition plan takes time. I certainly didn't have it all figured it out in the beginning and to this day, I am learning and implementing new strategies for my health and longevity.

The point is you just won't nail everything at once, but you do need to start somewhere. And if you're somebody who is looking for a good first step in the right direction, I have the perfect place for you to begin!

Eliminate These Two Ingredients

There are hundreds, if not thousands, of nutrient poor, harmful, even toxic ingredients in our food supply today. Most additives, fillers, gums, and ingredients you can't recognize are derived from three main crops - wheat, soy, and corn.

These two major ingredients found in most processed foods you can eliminate from your intake today and immediately upgrade your health:

1) Soybean Oil: Soybean oil is a vegetable oil extracted from the seeds of a soybean. You're probably thinking, "Vegetable oil? sounds healthy!"....

Wrong. Vegetable oil, especially soybean oil, is not healthy. These oils are highly processed, refined and found in most packaged junk foods. This stuff is toxic and inflammatory, I'd stay away from it.

2) High Fructose Corn Syrup: Derived from corn stalks, high fructose corn syrup is a form of added sugar. It carries no nutritional value and is an industrial food product. HFCS is EVERYWHERE! It's cheaper than sugar (which is why big food companies love it) and most importantly, it's super sweet and addictive. Despite the food industry's efforts to promote and defend the use of this sweetener, HFCS has only contributed to the severe decline of our nation as we see that 73% of people are obese or overweight, 6 in 10 have chronic disease, and 19% struggle with anxiety and depression.

By eliminating these two highly processed ingredients from your intake, you will automatically upgrade the quality of your food. It can be that simple!
